CAPERS is a (Criminal Activity Police Enforcement Records System).

ISI's mission in developing CAPERS was to offer an affordable, feature driven, modular software product that any police department could afford. From the initial development, our focus was to develop a web enabled browser based product. This eliminates any workstation or operating system dependency. As wireless technology continues to grow at a phenomenal rate, CAPERS has the flexibility to be implemented in police vehicles.

User feedback is one of the major driving forces in the continued development of CAPERS. ISI wants to deliver a software product that makes each person's job easier. We listen, visit and crave user feedback. ISI's goal is to continue to develop CAPERS into a product that is used by police department throughout the United States .

As we have visited Police Departments we have discovered that they use a number of software products from a variety of vendors. We are building the flexibility into CAPERS so that police departments have one software product and one vendor. Why have different software products to learn when you can have only one.
